The Syracuse Section is one of the 248 geographically-based sections of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), with a January 2008 membership of approximately 241. The section was established in 1946 of what was then called the American Society for Quality Control.
The section area borders from southern Onondaga county north to the St. Lawrence seaway and from western Cayuga county to the western portion of the Mohawk Valley.

The Section posts information at this site, and offers some educational opportunities, when enough members register for an offered course. One of the best ways to get more involved with the section is to attend the monthly dinner meetings where you will meet a large portion of the section's most active people. The section congratulates those individuals who have achieved certification status and those who have joined the section in the Members section. If you would like to find some people to contact for specific questions, you can check our contacts listing of the Section's Officers and Committee Chairpersons.
